As a website owner what do we do really need more traffic or better conversion rate? first of all let me define conversion rate this is determine by the amount of visitors you received divided by the amount of action taken.
This means that if you have 1000 visitors per day and one hundred take some action by either signing up to a news letter or by a product that means you have a conversation rate of 10 percent very good.
Traffic generates conversion so we still needs traffic but if you get 10 visitors per day and four carry out some action then this means that your conversation rate is 40 percent.
Setting yourself some goals would be good especially if you uses the term SMART i will explain this later but one of the simple way to achieve your goal is by testing and tweaking your site your landing page in particular by this i mean sometimes redesigning your site and monitoring it for a while may be a month or so or by having two separate landing pages and analyze the results of both to see which one that yields the better results.
When tweaking make small changes at a time this gives you a better way of measuring the results. Sometimes a little patience helps to save you a couple hundred of bucks in paying for reciprocal linking or search engine optimization. Evaluate your site make sure your call to action buttons are easily seen and by being smart means...
S -------- Scalable
M -------- Measurable
A -------- Achievable
R -------- Review
T -------- Time Frame
This may seems a bit time consuming hey who said selling or trying to make money on the web is easy and remember to stand out from your competitors never try to blend in. What is call to action you may asked it is getting the visitor to take some form of action whether buying a product or even signing up to your news letter.
Tweaking is very good but remember but however when making changes to you site make the changes to the pages change the layout of the content, the size of the fonts and images if there is any move your adds to different locations monitor the results over a specific time period if this proves successful you may stick to it or else tweak it some more until you are satisfied with the result

Organic Traffic Ever wonder how your visitors find your website it could be a number of ways before we look at some of these methods let me ask you a question have you ever fill out an online form and just before the submit button you are ask the question “How did You Find Us” ? i guess the answer is yes that is a part of this process of optimizing your website or blog understanding how your visitors find your site is very important. keywords another factor in your optimization process this is what drives organic traffic to your website or blog this is the traffic that drives your blog revenue don’t get me wrong here having a steady followers to your blog builds trust and authority and gives your lots of credibility but it is those unique page views that counts.
Website Ranking this is very important for your blog if not one of the single most important factors spiders crawled the web scanning billions of web pages daily and ranked them according to their relevancy and popularity your blog and its content is judged by automated software know as BOT or spiders they do these by using what is called algorithms which are the search engines best kept secrets this avoid the black hat method that is the reason why these algorithms are never release to the public.
Search Engines they enable your visitors to enter a specific word or phrase known as keywords and all pages containing these terms are show in order as to how the pages are ranked according to the search engines ranking as we all know these pages were ranked by the spiders not human.Optimizing for search engines is important however we must still bear our visitors in mind after all they are the primary cause of our blog in the first place. SEO is one of our greatest tool but if we try to short cut it by using some black hat method it may benefit us in the short term but your website will get caught out and may even be banned by the search engines in the long run so stick to the rules play it safe and have patience your blog will reap the reward from all the organic traffic you need.
I am not an expert but from past experience this helps Organic search engine results are our best bet keep on blogging.

(1)Creating References Most blogs contain reference material you refer to often in your posts. (2)Break Your Post When writing your blog post decide where you want to break your post and add a Read More Or Full Entry tag this will then leads the reader to another page on your blog which contain the entire post this is a new page this acts as a call to action by this i mean you are always encouraging your readers to take some form of action this is a proven method.
(3)Create Your Favourite Widgets This is another great way to encourage visitors to explore your website this is found on most popular blogs which describes by topics the post with the most page views or the most comments this can influence clicks especially if the user is curious or looking for further information.

(5)Creating Links By this i mean when commenting on other blogs where possible use different urls to link to your website not only use your domain name example if you have a post that you want to get exposure instead of just linking to say www.lawmacs.com you could use a different link one that links directly to a page say www.lawmacs.com/archive.aspx this will take the visitor to your archive page then if he or she finds any topic of interest they more on to that page technically you just had two page views from the same visitor.
