After all the ups and downs of last year not to mentioned the credit crunch and to a lesser extent the swine flu  and with some big names crumbling we still manage to keep the blogging atmosphere rolling and i do hope that this goes on for many more years to come .

I have met some wonderful friends in the past year 2009 some of whom really touch my heart and for that same reason i am creating a page on my blog for them to display their links although this is not fully finished you can view the page Here my plans is that all my commentators can have their website here i guess this is more like some back links to your website there won’t have to be any link back to my website that choice is entirely up to you just keep on visiting and leave your comments that's all feel free to make mention of this on your blog,

(1) Writing Tips For New Bloggers

If you are New blogger and wants to start writing your first blog post then get your pen and paper or your editor up and running this could either be notepad or Microsoft word, i choose to use window’s live writer the reason been after finish writing i can use it to post straight to my website  the editor you uses is a choice of yours the one you feel comfortable with.

(2)Website Design Tips – Wireframes and Grids--

Designing your website from scratch acne be very challenging and it also makes sense ,when designing it is always a good idea to have a hand drawn sketch of your website design before you start creating the real site with your favourite software whether it be photo shop or what ever software you are comfortable with. Why using wireframes is good this gives you the freedom of expression and no need for a mouse or any graphic software at this moment using pen and paper has its advantage no need for any bulky computer to take around with you.

(3)Web Design Tips Blog promotion

After spending the time to create your professional looking website choosing your keywords now it is time for your Blog Promotion here i will share with you what i have learn as a new blogger trying to get establish trusted and recognize in this competitive blog sphere, I think i owe it to my readers to search it with them. In my past post i covered topics such as Writing Tips For New Bloggers and Keywords For search Engines and other stuff no it is time to promote your blog.

Looking A Head

Financially 2009 was not what i had hope for made a few bucks from Text-link-ads.com and also adbrite my favourite is text-link-ads.com with no minimum payout get paid by PayPal what more could you want looking a head as most of you are aware i am a contributing author on famous bloggers.net and will continue to do so in the near future. I will continue to harness the power of social networking to further monetize my bog this is a good time to review of achievements and set our goals for the coming few months. Have a wonderful and prosperous new year.

We have gone through a tough year of trying to adjust ourselves to the ever changing world of web design the web 2.0 era social networking sites the new guidelines for bloggers in regards to disclosure policy well all that aside i must remind you that i am no expert in seo or web designer just trying to share some knowledge with you.We are quite aware of the fact that as bloggers we crave for a decent Google Page Rank i too would love a pr 6 blog unfortunately that is not the case at the moment what the future holds for lawmacs.com in the next updates  not sure but i pay little attention to pr at the moment now lets turn or attention to the latest news that Google has hinted that Page Speed will be included in its ranking factor .

There are some topics about this but as Website Designer when creating Web pages this should already be a factor taken into consideration as i have mentioned in one of my earlier post Content or Page Rank that when creating or designing your web pages you should focus on the user and everything else will follow not surprisingly Page Speed has now been include as part the ranking factor  to help with your Page Loading Time here are some Tips

(1)Put Cascading Style Sheet at the top this lets your page load faster and the server only needs to read this file once and it is best practice to use CSS sprite buy this is meant using one image with smaller images embedded in it and use your style sheet to do the rest.

(2)JavaScript - Avoid using too much heavy files put JavaScript files at the bottom i too use JavaScript files but try to use small files for quicker Loading Time we all like a little fancy or stylish website but too many animations is not advisable but you can still make your design stylish without too many scrolling text or animation.

(3)Page size Try to keep your page at a reasonable size some recommend that it be about 50k although some times we go above this ensure that the user doesn’t have to scroll horizontally to view your web pages this can be a turn off. test your website pages with several browsers and make sure that they load completely and quickly make sure that your links work.

After all we design to suit of readers although search engines are the source of our traffic the reader is the one that bring the clicks and help your website to generate the revenue so now i left you to share your thoughts on this post do you think page speed should be a part of your ranking factor? have your say.
