So what is your strategy for making your blog? Marketing is an important aspect of our blogs survival. Many of you might think that you don’t market your blog but you are wrong you do it every day sometimes without even thinking about it. There are many different you can use to market your blog some very costly and there are lots of free method that you can use to market your blog.

Why do we market our blog simple for more exposure, the more you market the more exposure and the better chance of getting visitors that can be turned into paying customers. Some marketing strategy works better than some there is no doubt about that. Ad words are one of the common methods used by many website and blog owners to gain targeted visitors but this can be an expensive method. There are some great free methods that are available to you as bloggers that if done right can bear great results with just a little effort and time on your part. Now let’s look at a few methods I use to help and market my blog.

Blog Commenting yes you read it right commenting on other blogs is a great way of marketing your blog and the great thing about it is that it is free, doesn’t cost a penny. Every time you left a valuable comment on a blog then you are giving your website the opportunity to be seen by others who will follow your link back to your website or blog, There is one thing to bear in mind when leaving comments on other blogs is that your comment must be about the topic and not appears to be spam

Face Book and Twitter these are two of my favourite tools to use and market my website. Having a retweet button on your blog is always recommended this allow your readers to share your post with their followers. Face book with the most users online is not to be taken lightly it has great potential as a marketing tool. Facebook lets your post goes viral in no time. This is just three simple marketing strategies you can use to market your blog i use them and am satisfied with the results, so you should too. What are your marketing strategy please share what works for you. Please share this post.

What do you do to promote a piece of content you've written once you've published it? Do you leave it alone and hope for the best? Do you send out a tweet or two talking about the latest addition to your blog? Or do you go overboard with promotion, using every social network known to man to its full extent and sending an email or two to your list? The sad truth is, many bloggers looking to make money online pick choice "A". (hoping for the best) Most pick choice "B". Only a few go with "C", which is a shame. Before I even go on, let me tell you why. Bloggers that don't go crazy with content marketing do it for one simple reason: the laziness factor. What I'm saying is that if you're one of those A or B people, maybe you aren't cut out for being a blogger after all. If you're still with me, (and you are since you're reading this text) great! What do you do to promote a piece of content you’ve written once you’ve published it? Do you leave it alone and hope for the best? Do you send out a tweet or two talking about the latest addition to your blog? Or do you go overboard with promotion, using every social network known to man to its full extent and sending an email or two to your list? The sad truth is, many bloggers looking to make money online pick choice “A”. (hoping for the best) Most pick choice “B”. Only a few go with “C”, which is a shame. Before I even go on, let me tell you why. Bloggers that don’t go crazy with content marketing do it for one simple reason: the laziness factor.

What I’m saying is that if you’re one of those “A” or “B” people, maybe you aren’t cut out for being a blogger after all. If you’re still with me, (and you are since you’re reading this text) great! Here’s the reason why content marketing is so important. The phrase “build it and they will come” is a lie. If you think blogging is all about writing, “they” won’t come, whoever they are. So if you want your content to succeed on the internet, you’re going to need to make real effort for it. And I’m not talking about the standard “spend a lot of time writing and it will pay off”. I’m talking about spending time getting readers making your content promotable. Here’s my take on how to do just that. Note: To work with this guide, you don’t have to be the best copywriter in the world. Just know the basics, and you’re good to go.

Step 1 – Give Your Child A Name

The first step in attracting traffic to any piece of content is giving it a nice compelling title. In our fast-paced world, the average internet user attention span is about 2 seconds. There’s no patience, only a rushed need for information. All I have to say about it is that if your headline can’t turn a casual visitor into a reader from the start, you aren’t even giving your baby (your content) the chance to survive. You wouldn’t want that, would you? Luckily, writing good headlines isn’t so hard. The trick is suspense. Trust me, just leave visitors hanging and they’re bound to click through. Asking a question (like the title of this post) works well, too.

Step 2 – Inbound Marketing

Inbound marketing is a marketing approach where the goal is to get found, not find visitors yourself. When it comes to marketing content, you can describe inbound marketing using only three letters: SEO. Writing search engine friendly articles isn’t as hard as you think. Just cater for the user, answer their every question, and not only will your copy end up keyword rich, but if you’re lucky, it might even attract a link or two from leaders in your niche, which can’t be bad.

Step 3 – Outbound Marketing

Outbound marketing is- you guessed it, the opposite of inbound marketing. It means finding readers yourself and getting them (using a little bit of compelling persuasion magic) to check out your blog. Some people regard outbound marketing as aggressive, and it is in many cases, but it doesn’t have to be if you do it right, so don’t be afraid to reach out. With content, the outbound technique you use is email marketing. Build a list if you don’t have one. It isn’t as hard as you think. Just get some great content to go free with a subscription, and opt-ins will just pour in. But if you do have one, just send one friendly email every time you publish a blog post. Make sure your list wants these notifications, or you might find your user confidence scarred badly. OK, content marketing becomes repetitive easily. So what? Who told you that blogging was going to be easy? Now it’s your turn! I’m not going to be the only one sharing here! What are your thoughts about promoting your content? Any special methods that you’d like us to know about? Just drop us a comment below. Unlike blogging, it’s easy, I promise!

Some of these other blogs are huge communities, others, not so much. But no matter how low the standards are for the blog you’re writing for, you have to try your best, or you’ll just be another face in the ever-growing crowd called your niche. It’s pretty hard to be a successful guest poster. Sure, every time you guest post, you get a stream of traffic and recognition, but know that the rest of your readers will do nothing more. They’re just looking for content. Not a business, not a blog. But you can change that. By writing awesome guest posts and getting them published on the most popular blogs in your niche, you can actually become one yourself.

First thing’s first. Rejection is something that most guest posters experience often if they go for stricter blogs. Don’t fret, even if you’re writing for a smaller blog. Rejection is actually good in some ways. Consider it a great wake-up slap and an awesome way to improve. Say an A-list blogger says no to you. If you can word your email just right, that same blogger can also personally tell you why. Why your post got rejected and how it can be improved. I think of this as the best opportunity to get writing tips that are targeted at you, so don’t be afraid of hearing the word “no”. Now how do you get a guest post published? For me, it depends on the blog I’m writing for. The process is either the write-and-submit or the pitch method. Here are the basic steps for the write-and-submit method:

Write the article, in my WP panel or the blog’s. (depending on whether or not the blog handles guest posts using the backend)

Email it, or submit it for review. (again depending on the way the blog handles guest posts)

Wait for it to get published.

Done in 4 steps, actually 2.

This is my favourite method, but there are times where writing your article becomes unacceptable and a waste of time. So here’s the pitch method:

Contact the blog with an some information about the guest post you’re planning to write. Give a brief description and a few main points. Just get your idea across.

If the blog says yes, write the article.

Submit it, and wait for a reply.

One extra step does make a difference, and it shows the blogger you’re writing for that you’re willing to wait a little bit to get a guest post through. The best tip I can give you for writing articles that are worthy of getting published on top blogs is that you shouldn’t be too eager to hit the “send” button on your content. You should be willing to sit on your article for a day or two. I can guarantee that if you do this, you’ll end up improving your article in some way. That’s how to get guest posts published on the top blogs in your niche. Simple, but effective.
