FedEx has launched a new app on Facebook that highlights that they can help your business grow better than a cheesy advertising jingle.  They invite customers to input their business details which then become customization parts of their very own ‘jingle’.  It’s another way FedEx is looking to increase engagement within its fast growing social community on Facebook.

The app is designed to be entertaining, interactive, and a unique experience, taking the idea of “solutions that matter” from a reverse angle:  there are many things FedEx can do to help your business succeed; a cheesy ‘Jingle’ isn’t one of them.

The “Jingle Studio” app was created by BBDO NY, working with Caviar and Haus.  It juxtaposes a low-fi interface with a new text-to-singing technology.

  1. Seemingly silly stuff like this – especially when it’s interactive – can catch on big-time with social media users. The idea, I’m sure, is to draw people to FedEx’s page and get them thinking about the brand (FedEx). I think they are just trying to connect with potential customers and keep their name in people’s minds. If someone has recently used this app, they may very well think of FedEx first next time they are looking for a shipping company. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  2. Yes,
If we share complete info to the visitors then we can grab their attention and i think he will also clear about business what exactly is and if have query then there is more chance to make visitors straight about the point.

  3. It’s quite an innovative measure taken by Fedex to prove it’s community to be worthwhile on Facebook. Jingle is truly mind-boggling, this app should be tried by everyone.

  4. Great post! Fedex are huge as a corporation and for the likes of them to get involved with social/mobile media can only boost their already heightened awareness. The “jingle” part of it is cheesy but hey its American lol

  5. This app is surely a good strategy for FedEx to attract potential customers and keep building new connections. Thanks for sharing the app!
