How to get your post Viral The myth

going viralWe all hear about videos and blog post going viral on the internet especially on YouTube videos getting three, four five million views and even more but as a blogger wouldn’t you like your post to go viral? Who wouldn’t every bloggers dream or hope to achieve this one day but what or how may views is classified as viral. A simple definition for viral means information share rapidly among users on the internet with about five million views over a period of five to seven days. This is a phenomenal achievement for any content to receive in such a short period of time.
Lets look at the main factor that gets the buzz going the headline of the content you shared. It sounds simple but having a catchy title or headline is the first thing that grab the readers attention, another eye catching factor is a picture as the old saying goes a picture paints a thousand words.Getting your post to go viral takes a lot of effort although sometimes you would be amazed to learn that most viral content or video was not produce for the sake of going viral they were done to offer some valuable information to the audience it was intended for.

social mediaFirstly we look at the headlines next comes the content now we fit the content to match the headlines that is giving valuable content to the readers.Sharing your content on social media is one of the easiest way to get the buzz going rapidly among your readers. Most believe that the longer the content you write the more value it offer but to me that is just another myth, lets look at twitter for a moment you can on share 140 characters and why tell a story in 30 minutes when you can tell it in 30 seconds. Although i have no scientific data to back up my preference i like writing my content about 500 words. Viral content doesn’t depend and content length but by the information in that content lets face it going viral sometimes needs some form of luck.

One thing i will always suggest to writers is that always write for your audience with the search engine in mind never write a content to get a viral buzz. When writing never be afraid to challenge yourself even to be a bit controversial at times believe me been controversy sometimes explode sharing after all you are writing your content to attract attention, how many times you see fights and prank videos goes viral? readers love a little humor too and these are the little things that pushes your content to the limit. Viral sharing is it a myth or reality? i strongly believe that this is possible getting it done is up to you most time we fail because we don’t believe and if we lost belief the it differ the reason why we blog in the first so don’t worry if you never get a viral content on the internet as long as you offer quality content the chances are wit a little bit of luck and some sharing your content will go viral.
