sundaypost This is Sunday Post Round Up for this week a very interesting year so far in the area of social media where we recently see social networking sites LinkedIn floating on the stock exchange and quite recently Microsoft bought Skye and as most of you are aware Twitter as just acquired Tweet Deck and the current news that twitter has been sued. Well that is that sit back and enjoy this weeks Round Up.Feel free to send me links of post that you believe needs sharing it could be even a post that you have written. I will showcase them here and share with others.

(1)  Why I Share What I ShareI feel like I’ve been in a more opinionated mood recently, and I hope that is alright with you, my readers. I have a nice juicy “how to” post for next week though, so don’t fear!Today I wanted to share with you, pun intended, why I share what I share through Twitter and my Fetching Friday posts. Changing My Approach In the last few weeks, I have been changing up my strategies quite a bit, from taking the time to comment on blogs to turning off my Twitter feed and other social media automation services.

(2) Before the links: SEO and Content Writing – Your search engine optimization strategies need to be implemented from the very start of your website. The creation of your website’s content and how it networks within the site is the entire foundation for your SEO efforts late on. This network of URL’s from both page and post, will describe the most relevant keyword phrases and sets for your search engine rankings. Building relevant and powerful keyword structures requires planning and taking the time to do your research.

(3) How to Obtain Fast High Search Rankings Through Social Signals Social signals is one of the most notable addition to Google’s search ranking factors this year, as it is a strong indication of user activity or behaviour on pages all across the web. These signals are basically retrieved from popular social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and perhaps soon via Google +1, determining pages that receive a lot of attention and social popularity in order to be returned as results to relevant search queries.

(4) Google In-Page Analytics, Your Personalized Heat Map (Good For Business) Ever wondered what your users actually do when they arrive on your website? Hopefully the very first thing they would do is to read your latest article and preferably leave a comment, lol. So let’s say just for the sake of argument that they did read your latest article and left you a comment, what next? Did they leave, or did they “clicked” on something else? Would it not be helpful to know what they are actually “clicking” while they are on your site and visualize how your visitors navigate on a given website page? I think yes, and that would be a real valuable information.

(5) Social Marketing Strategy: Encouraging the Right Conversations – Most brands fail in the arena of social media marketing, because they focus less on ‘social’ and more on ‘media’. Markets are nothing but conversations. In order to build long-term relationships with consumers, companies need to encourage the right kind of conversations after identifying who their target audience is. The best part about social media is that you can’t even stop conversations from happening. Once you have identified your target audience, the next important step is to focus on right conversations so that you can engage more and more consumers to interact with your brand, products, and services.

That is it for this week’s Round Up i do hope you find these post useful and feel free to visit these blogs and read the full post. and remember share is caring feel free to share them with you fellow bloggers and tweet the post.

    1. Thanks Shabnam and i do hope you find them interesting and have a great week ahead. Thanks for taking the time to add your voice to the debate.

  1. This round up “make it a habit” can keep your SEO on the rank. not just once but regularly. Its good to plan this to make it more effective.

  2. Excellent roundup I’m going to visit the #2, #3 and #5 I missed last week.

I enjoy a lot those roundups to catch up those worth articles of the week.
I had it on mine, but now I don’t have time to compile this weekly summary.

    Cheers,

    Gera

  3. great round up but the round up # 23 which i read a hour ago is very excellent and well written

  4. I just read the article you posted from kikolani. I love what she says at the very end of the post, about how you should share links, comment on others’ blogs, etc. not just because you expect them to do the same for you in return, but because you find the subject matter interesting enough to share or comment on. I feel like this is a good way to approach SEO endeavors, generally speaking. With backlinking, for example, your comments are so much more likely to get approved if you demonstrate sincere interest in the subject at hand to the blog owner. Also, you’ll enjoy the work that you do more if you take the time to really read posts and share meaningful comments.

  5. Great post. I like almost all the points in this article. Get an idea for content development to a site, promoting analytics & social networking strategies.
